Psalm 118:6

^(C)What can man do to me?

⁶The Lord is with me;^(A) I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?^(B)

²²^[a]^(A)Take no account of man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils;
For ^[b]^(B)why should he be esteemed?

²²Stop trusting in mere humans,^(A)
who have but a breath^(B) in their nostrils.
Why hold them in esteem?^(C)
