⁹It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in princes.^(A)

⁹It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

³Do not trust in nobles,
in man, who cannot save.^(A)

³Do not put your trust in princes,^(A)
in human beings,^(B) who cannot save.

³Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
