⁵⁶This blessing has fallen to me,
that ^(A)I have kept your precepts.

⁵⁶This has been my practice:
I obey your precepts.^(A)

⁵⁶This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

⁶⁹^(A)The insolent ^(B)smear me with lies,
but with my whole heart I ^(C)keep your precepts;

⁶⁹Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies,^(A)
I keep your precepts with all my heart.

⁶⁹The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
