5 The Lord watches over(A) you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun(B) will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm(C)—
    he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.(D)

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
