2 How long shall I (A)take counsel in my soul,
Having (B)sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

3 (C)Look and answer me, O Yahweh my God;
(D)Give light to my eyes, lest I (E)sleep the sleep of death,
4 Lest my enemy (F)says, “I have overcome him,”
And (G)my adversaries rejoice that I am shaken.
