11 The Lord has made a sure promise to David that He will never break: “I will set upon your throne your own children. 12 If your sons will keep My Law and My Word which I will teach them, then their sons will sit upon your throne forever.”

11 The Lord swore an oath to David,(A)
    a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants(B)
    I will place on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant(C)
    and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
    on your throne(D) for ever and ever.”
