²You know when I sit and when I rise;^(A)
you perceive my thoughts^(B) from afar.

²Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

²⁶The Lord detests the thoughts^(A) of the wicked,^(B)
but gracious words are pure^(C) in his sight.

²⁶The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

⁴Knowing their thoughts,^(A) Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
