² The Lord looks down from heaven^(A)
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,^(B)
    any who seek God.^(C)
3 All have turned away,^(D) all have become corrupt;^(E)
    there is no one who does good,^(F)
    not even one.^(G)

⁴ Do all these evildoers know nothing?^(H)

They devour my people^(I) as though eating bread;
    they never call on the Lord.^(J)
