5 There they are in great dread,
For God is with a (A)righteous generation.
6 You would put to shame the plan of the poor,
But the Lord is his (B)refuge.

7 Oh, that (C)the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord (D)restores the fortunes of His people,
Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.

    for God is present in the company of the righteous.
6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
    but the Lord is their refuge.(A)

7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!(B)
    When the Lord restores(C) his people,
    let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!
