⁹Therefore my heart is glad
and my spirit rejoices;
my body also rests securely.^(A)
¹⁰For You will not abandon me to Sheol;^(B)
You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay.^(C)
¹¹You reveal the path of life to me;
in Your presence is abundant joy;^(D)
in Your right hand are eternal pleasures.^(E)

    my body also will rest secure,^(B)
¹⁰because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,^(C)
    nor will you let your faithful^[a] one^(D) see decay.^(E)
¹¹You make known to me the path of life;^(F)
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,^(G)
    with eternal pleasures^(H) at your right hand.^(I)
