    you have tried us as silver is tried.

²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart!

⁹ And ^(A)I will put this third into the fire,
    and refine them as one refines silver,
    and test them as gold is tested.
^(B)They will call upon my name,
    and ^(C)I will answer them.
^(D)I will say, ‘They are my people’;
