11 He made (A)darkness His hiding place, (B)His [a]canopy around Him,
Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12 From the (C)brightness before Him passed His thick clouds,
Hailstones and (D)coals of fire.
13 The Lord also (E)thundered in the heavens,
And the Most High uttered His voice,
Hailstones and coals of fire.

    the dark rain clouds of the sky.
12 Out of the brightness of his presence(C) clouds advanced,
    with hailstones(D) and bolts of lightning.(E)
13 The Lord thundered(F) from heaven;
    the voice of the Most High resounded.[a]
