11 He made darkness His hiding place, the covering around Him, the dark rain clouds of the sky. 12 Through the light before Him passed His dark clouds, hail stones and fire. 13 The Lord made thunder in the heavens. The voice of the Most High spoke out, hail stones and fire.

11 He made darkness his covering,(A) his canopy(B) around him—
    the dark rain clouds of the sky.
12 Out of the brightness of his presence(C) clouds advanced,
    with hailstones(D) and bolts of lightning.(E)
13 The Lord thundered(F) from heaven;
    the voice of the Most High resounded.[a]
