⁸^(A)the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is ^(B)pure,
^(C)enlightening the eyes;

⁸The precepts of the Lord are right,^(A)
giving joy^(B) to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.^(C)

¹⁰More to be desired are they than ^(A)gold,
even much ^(B)fine gold;
^(C)sweeter also than honey
and drippings of ^(D)the honeycomb.

¹⁰They are more precious than gold,^(A)
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,^(B)
than honey from the honeycomb.^(C)
