⁸ But now for a brief moment favour has been shown by the Lord our God, to leave us a ^(A)remnant and to give us a ^(B)secure hold^[a] within his holy place, that our God may ^(C)brighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our slavery.

^18 (A)having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is ^(B)the hope to which he has called you, what are ^(C)the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
