²The ^(A)kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers conspire together
^(B)Against the Lord and against His ^[a]^(C)Anointed, saying,
³“Let’s ^(D)tear their shackles apart
And throw their ropes away from us!”

⁴He who ^[b]sits in the heavens ^(E)laughs,
The Lord ^(F)scoffs at them.
