Psalm 2:7-9

7 “I will surely tell of the [a]decree of Yahweh:
He said to Me, ‘You are (A)My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and (B)I will surely give (C)the [b]nations as Your inheritance,
And the (D)ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 You shall [c](E)break them with a [d]rod of iron,
You shall (F)shatter them like a potter’s vessel.’”

7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;(A)
    today I have become your father.(B)
8 Ask me,
    and I will make the nations(C) your inheritance,(D)
    the ends of the earth(E) your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron[a];(F)
    you will dash them to pieces(G) like pottery.(H)”
