¹¹Though they plot evil^(A) against you
and devise wicked schemes,^(B) they cannot succeed.

¹¹For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

⁵With one mind they plot together;^(A)
they form an alliance against you—

⁵For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

²for their hearts plot violence,^(A)
and their lips talk about making trouble.^(B)
