7 Because the king trusteth in the Lord, and in the mercy of the most high, he shall not slide.

8 [a]Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies, and thy right hand shall find out them that hate thee.

9 Thou shalt make them like a fiery oven in time of thine anger: the Lord shall destroy them in his [b]wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

7 For the king trusts in the Lord;(A)
    through the unfailing love(B) of the Most High(C)
    he will not be shaken.(D)

8 Your hand will lay hold(E) on all your enemies;
    your right hand will seize your foes.
9 When you appear for battle,
    you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath,
    and his fire will consume them.(F)
