⁵I hate a crowd of evildoers,
and I do not sit with the wicked.^(A)

⁵I abhor^(A) the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.

⁵I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

¹⁶Show Your favor to Your servant;
save me by Your faithful love.^(A)

¹⁶Let your face shine^(A) on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love.^(B)

¹⁶Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
