12 Give me not unto the [a]lust of mine adversaries: for there are false witnesses risen up against me, and such as speak cruelly.
13 I should have fainted, except I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord [b]in the land of the living.
14 [c]Hope in the Lord: be strong, and he shall comfort thine heart, and trust in the Lord.
