Psalm 31:8

⁸And You have not ^(A)handed me over to the enemy;
You have set my feet in a large place.

Psalm 31:8

New International Version

⁸You have not given me into the hands^(A) of the enemy
but have set my feet in a spacious place.^(B)

⁹^(A)then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from ^[a]a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the ^(B)day of judgment,

⁹if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials^(A) and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.^(B)
