⁸And You have not ^(A)handed me over to the enemy;
You have set my feet in a large place.

New International Version

⁸You have not given me into the hands^(A) of the enemy
but have set my feet in a spacious place.^(B)

⁵From my ^(A)distress I called upon ^[a]the Lord;
^[b]The Lord answered me and ^(B)put me in an open space.

⁵When hard pressed,^(A) I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place.^(B)
