Psalm 34:14-16

The Message

¹⁴Turn your back on sin; do something good.
Embrace peace—don’t let it get away!

¹⁵God keeps an eye on his friends,
his ears pick up every moan and groan.

¹⁶God won’t put up with rebels;
he’ll cull them from the pack.

Psalm 34:14-16

New International Version

¹⁴Turn from evil and do good;^(A)
seek peace^(B) and pursue it.

¹⁵The eyes of the Lord^(C) are on the righteous,^(D)
and his ears are attentive^(E) to their cry;
¹⁶but the face of the Lord is against^(F) those who do evil,^(G)
to blot out their name^(H) from the earth.
