12 They yielded to me evils for goods; barrenness to my soul. (They gave me evil for good; making my soul barren.)

11 Ruthless witnesses(D) come forward;
    they question me on things I know nothing about.
12 They repay me evil for good(E)
    and leave me like one bereaved.
