²⁶ Let ^(A)those be ashamed and humiliated altogether who rejoice at my distress;
Let those be ^(B)clothed with shame and dishonor who ^(C)magnify themselves over me.

¹⁶ For I said, “May they not rejoice over me,
Who, when my foot slips, ^(A)would magnify themselves against me.”

¹² For it is ^(A)not an enemy who reproaches me,
Then I could bear it;
Nor is it one who hates me who ^(B)has exalted himself against me,
Then I could hide myself from him.
¹³ But it is you, a man ^[a]my equal,
