Psalm 36:2-4
International Standard Version
2 He flatters himself[a] too much[b] to discover his transgression and hate it.
3 The words from his mouth are vain and deceptive.
He has abandoned behaving wisely and doing good.
4 He devises iniquity on his bed
and is determined to follow a path that is not good.
He does not resist evil.

2 In their own eyes they flatter themselves
too much to detect or hate their sin.(A)

they commit themselves to a sinful course(G)
