Psalm 37:37-39
Living Bible

37 But the good man—what a different story! For the good man—the blameless, the upright, the man of peace—he has a wonderful future ahead of him. For him there is a happy ending. 38 But evil men shall be destroyed, and their posterity shall be cut off.

39 The Lord saves the godly! He is their salvation and their refuge when trouble comes.

37 Consider the blameless,(A) observe the upright;(B)
    a future awaits those who seek peace.[a](C)
38 But all sinners(D) will be destroyed;(E)
    there will be no future[b] for the wicked.(F)

39 The salvation(G) of the righteous comes from the Lord;
    he is their stronghold in time of trouble.(H)
