day and night,
while people say to me all day long,
“Where is your God?”^(B)

⁵You fed them the bread of tears
and gave them a full measure^[a]
of tears to drink.^(A)

⁵You have fed them with the bread of tears;^(A)
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.^(B)
