Psalm 42:5-6

English Standard Version

⁵^(A)Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you ^(B)in turmoil within me?
^(C)Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation^[a] ⁶and my God.

My soul is cast down within me;
therefore I ^(D)remember you
^(E)from the land of Jordan and of ^(F)Hermon,
from Mount Mizar.
