Psalm 42:9

⁹I say to God my Rock,^(A)
“Why have you forgotten^(B) me?
Why must I go about mourning,^(C)
oppressed^(D) by the enemy?”^(E)

⁹I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

²⁴Why do you hide your face^(A)
and forget^(B) our misery and oppression?^(C)

²⁴Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

¹⁴He will rescue^(A) them from oppression and violence,
for precious^(B) is their blood in his sight.

¹⁴He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
