13 You make us an object of (A)reproach to our neighbors,
Of scoffing and (B)ridicule to those around us.
14 You make us (C)a proverb among the nations,
A [a](D)laughingstock among the peoples.
15 All day long my dishonor is before me
And [b]I am covered with my (E)humiliation,
16 Because of the voice of one who (F)taunts and reviles,
Because of the presence of the (G)enemy and the avenger.

15 I live in disgrace(G) all day long,

because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge.(K)
