New Catholic Bible
Psalm 44:24-26
New Catholic Bible
24 Awake, O Lord. Why[a] do you sleep?
Rise up, and do not abandon us forever.
25 Why do you hide your face[b]
and continue to ignore our misery and our sufferings?
26 We have been brought down to the dust;
our bodies cling to the ground.[c]
