Psalm 44:15-17

¹⁵ All day my disgrace is right in front of me,
and the shame on my face covers me,
¹⁶ because of the voice of the slanderer and reviler,
because of the enemy and avenger.
¹⁷ All this came on us, though we had not forgotten you.
We had not been false to your covenant.
