Psalm 46:9

⁹He ^(A)makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He ^(B)breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He ^(C)burns the chariots with fire.

New International Version

⁹He makes wars^(A) cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow^(B) and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields^[a] with fire.^(C)

The shield, the sword, and the ^[b]weapons of war. Selah

Psalm 76:3 The Hebrew has Selah (a word of uncertain meaning) here and at the end of verse 9.
