4 He chose our inheritance(A) for us,
    the pride of Jacob,(B) whom he loved.[a]

5 God has ascended(C) amid shouts of joy,(D)
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.(E)
6 Sing praises(F) to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
