2 Mount Zion, lying Northward, is fair in situation: it is the [a]joy of the whole earth, and the City of the great king.
3 In the palaces thereof God is known for a [b]refuge.
4 For lo, the kings were [c]gathered, and went together.

the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon[a](B) is Mount Zion,(C)

3 God is in her citadels;(E)
he has shown himself to be her fortress.(F)
4 When the kings joined forces,
