⁷None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor ^(A)give to God a ransom for him—

⁷No one can redeem the life of another
or give to God a ransom for them—

⁷None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

⁸For ^(A)the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—

⁸the ransom^(A) for a life is costly,
no payment is ever enough—^(B)

⁸(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
