The Voice

22 Cast your troubles upon the Eternal;
    His care is unceasing!
He will not allow
    His righteous to be shaken.

23 But You, O God, You will drive them
    into the lowest[a] pit—
Violent, lying people
    won’t live beyond their middle years.
But I place my trust in You.

22 Cast your cares on the Lord
    and he will sustain you;(A)
he will never let
    the righteous be shaken.(B)
23 But you, God, will bring down the wicked
    into the pit(C) of decay;
the bloodthirsty and deceitful(D)
    will not live out half their days.(E)

But as for me, I trust in you.(F)
