    and how the wicked look at me.
They bring troubles down on me.
    In anger they attack me.

4 I am frightened inside.
    The terror of death has attacked me.
5 I am scared and shaking.

3     because of what my enemy is saying,
    because of the threats of the wicked;
for they bring down suffering on me(A)
    and assail(B) me in their anger.(C)

4 My heart is in anguish(D) within me;
    the terrors(E) of death have fallen on me.
5 Fear and trembling(F) have beset me;
    horror(G) has overwhelmed me.
