⁹Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns—
whether green or burning—
He will sweep them away.^[a]^(A)

⁹Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns^(A)—
whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.^[a]^(B)

¹²They surrounded me like bees;^(A)
they were extinguished like a fire among thorns;
in the name of Yahweh I destroyed them.^(B)

¹²They swarmed around me like bees,^(A)
but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;^(B)
in the name of the Lord I cut them down.^(C)
