6 O Lord, ^(B)do not rebuke me in Your anger,
Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.

^8 (A)I will not ^[a]rebuke you ^(B)for your sacrifices
Or your burnt offerings,
Which are continually before Me.

²¹ These things you have done, and I kept silent;
^(A)You thought that I was altogether like you;
But I will rebuke you,
And ^(B)set them in order before your eyes.

^9 (A)He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up;
So ^(B)He led them through the depths,
As through the wilderness.

^4 (A)He rebukes the sea and makes it dry,
And dries up all the rivers.
^(B)Bashan and Carmel wither,
And the flower of Lebanon wilts.
