6 God has spoken in His [a](A)holiness:
“I will exult, I will portion out (B)Shechem and measure out the valley of (C)Succoth.
7 “(D)Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;
(E)Ephraim also is the [b]helmet of My head;
Judah is My [c](F)scepter.
8 “(G)Moab is My washbowl;
Over (H)Edom I shall throw My shoe;
Shout loud, O (I)Philistia, because of Me!”

8 Moab is my washbasin,
on Edom I toss my sandal;
over Philistia I shout in triumph.(G)”
