Psalm 69:29-33
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
29 But I am lowly and in pain;
let your salvation, O God, protect me.(A)
30 I will praise the name of God with a song;
I will magnify him with thanksgiving.(B)
31 This will please the Lord more than an ox
or a bull with horns and hoofs.(C)
32 Let the oppressed see it and be glad;
you who seek God, let your hearts revive.(D)
33 For the Lord hears the needy
and does not despise his own who are in bonds.(E)

29 But as for me, afflicted and in pain—
may your salvation, God, protect me.(A)
30 I will praise God’s name in song(B)
and glorify him(C) with thanksgiving.
31 This will please the Lord more than an ox,
more than a bull with its horns and hooves.(D)
32 The poor will see and be glad(E)—
you who seek God, may your hearts live!(F)
33 The Lord hears the needy(G)
and does not despise his captive people.
