¹⁶His ^(A)mischief will return upon his own head,
And his ^(B)violence will descend upon ^[a]his own skull.

Psalm 7:16

New International Version

¹⁶The trouble they cause recoils on them;
their violence comes down on their own heads.

¹⁶Yahweh has ^(A)made Himself known;
He has ^(B)executed judgment.
In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. ^[a]Higgaion ^[b]Selah.

¹⁶The Lord is known by his acts of justice;
the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.^[a]^(A)

Psalm 9:16 The Hebrew has Higgaion and Selah (words of uncertain meaning) here; Selah occurs also at the end of verse 20.
