³I remembered^(A) you, God, and I groaned;^(B)
I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.^[a]^(C)

Psalm 77:3 The Hebrew has Selah (a word of uncertain meaning) here and at the end of verses 9 and 15.

⁴My spirit is weak within me;
my heart is overcome with dismay.^(A)

⁴So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.^(A)
