and the fruit of their labor to the locust.^(A)

⁴⁶He gave their crops to the grasshopper,^(A)
their produce to the locust.^(B)

⁴Your spoil will be gathered as locusts are gathered;
people will swarm over it like an infestation of locusts.

⁴Your plunder,^(A) O nations, is harvested^(B) as by young locusts;^(C)
like a swarm of locusts people pounce on it.
