¹⁶ It is ^(A)burned with fire, it is cut down;
They perish from the ^(B)rebuke of Your face.

¹¹ When its ^(A)limbs are dry, they are broken off;
Women come and make a fire with them,
For they are not a people of ^(B)discernment,
Therefore ^(C)their Maker ^(D)will not have compassion on them.
And their Creator will not be gracious to them.

¹⁴ But I will punish you ^(A)according to the ^[a]results of your deeds,” declares the Lord,
“And I will ^(B)kindle a fire in its forest
So that it may devour all its surroundings.”’”
