4 They have said, “Come, and (A)let’s wipe them out [a]as a nation,
So that the (B)name of Israel will no longer be remembered.”
5 For they have [b](C)conspired together with one mind;
They make a covenant against You:
6 The tents of (D)Edom and the (E)Ishmaelites,
(F)Moab and the (G)Hagrites;
7 (H)Gebal, (I)Ammon, and (J)Amalek,
(K)Philistia with the inhabitants of (L)Tyre;
8 (M)Assyria also has joined them;
They have become [c]a help to the (N)children of Lot. Selah
9 Deal with them (O)as with Midian,
As (P)with Sisera and Jabin at the river of Kishon,
10 Who were destroyed at En-dor,
Who (Q)became like dung for the ground.
11 Make their nobles like (R)Oreb and Zeeb,
And all their leaders like (S)Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Who said, “(T)Let’s possess for ourselves
The (U)pastures of God.”

4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy(A) them as a nation,(B)
so that Israel’s name is remembered(C) no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together;(D)
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom(E) and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab(F) and the Hagrites,(G)
7 Byblos,(H) Ammon(I) and Amalek,(J)
Philistia,(K) with the people of Tyre.(L)
8 Even Assyria(M) has joined them
to reinforce Lot’s descendants.[a](N)
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,(O)
as you did to Sisera(P) and Jabin(Q) at the river Kishon,(R)
10 who perished at Endor(S)
and became like dung(T) on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,(U)
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,(V)
12 who said, “Let us take possession(W)
of the pasturelands of God.”
