7 Show us Your lovingkindness, O Lord,
And (A)grant us Your salvation.

8 [a]I will hear what God the Lord will say;
For He will (B)speak peace to His people, [b]to His godly ones;
But let them not (C)turn back to [c]folly.
9 Surely (D)His salvation is near to those who [d]fear Him,
That (E)glory may dwell in our land.

    and grant us your salvation.(B)

8 I will listen to what God the Lord says;
    he promises peace(C) to his people, his faithful servants—
    but let them not turn to folly.(D)
9 Surely his salvation(E) is near those who fear him,
    that his glory(F) may dwell in our land.
